The aims of academic study are to satisfy one’s own expection through the university study. For most college students,the aims are to ensure having a good career or future job,and to develop personal growth. Others may want to enjoy learning. Actually there are many aims about academic study.Generally speaking, the aims should be specific ,valuable ,achievable and relevant ,we just need to plan and realize them step by step.Once you have aims, it emerges that achievement is as important as the aims.How to achieve the aims depends on all kinds of factors ,such as how much you are interested in your subject, and what others influence you on your study.These aims can be achieved by studying hard and reading a lot ,or communicating with local people ,and asking the tutor is also a good idea. This essay is about what the aims of academic study are and how to achieve them.

Good. Perhaps too many supporting details and not enough indication of the structure your essay will take. The last sentence is too general - it should be near the beginning of the intro. It doesn't make a transition to the next part of the essay.
