Topic: Qualification or Capability——which factor is more important for people who want to find a good job.
Summary:
I think that both factors are equally important. People with high qualification can easily find a good job, cause they have diplomas which can prove that they are qualified. They might start at a higher point and research shows that the more excellent the qualification, the higher the salary. However, Chinese companies tend to more lean to hire people with years of experience. Obviously, diploma isn't the only thing companies require from candidates. They also test the candidates by, for example, laying out a plan for certain project to see if they had the capabilities as good as their qualifications. People with only high qualification but low capability from lacking working experience would have hard times to combine theories with practice. On the other hand, social experience is also an important factor for people who wants a good job. Not only the companies want to hire people who have high qualification and outstanding capability, but also people with rich social experience and interpersonal relation skills. Because they know how to work with their colleagues and bosses to improve work efficiency which is the best thing the companies expected. That's why more and more undergraduate students find jobs during their vacations to gain as much working and social experience as they can. So they will graduate with both qualification and capability to insure them a promising future.
