SUMMARY

The author tried to tell us the current traffic situation in the USA by comparing to other countries, employing the data about the past and future transportation development. In the article, the writer clearly stated the problems caused by heavy traffic and analyzed the reasons, also others’ opinions are quoted. In the end, some practical approach are mentioned to deal with the more and more serious traffic condition.
