Comparison
There are two articles of opposite views on the same subject- global culture. The first article is “The Art of Building a Global Culture”, from BusinessWeek. The second is “Democracy at Risk American Culture in a Global Culture”, from World Policy Journal. In the first article, the writer thought the background of global culture is a good opportunity for the development of Transnational Corporations. On the other hand, the Transnational Corporations are also facing challenges, but if they operate their companies well and create a right global corporate culture, they will be easier to expand their business than ever before. However, in the second article, the writer’s attitude towards global culture is different, he held the opinion that the global culture is just the American culture, and global culture is the way America use to dominate the world. These two articles talked about global culture in two different aspects, therefore had different viewpoint.
