This is a summary from part of an article, the article is from World Policy Journal. This article talked about what kind of role the USA played in the process of global culture homogeneity. The writer stared the article by the question of “American culture global?” And listed examples to show that there were more and more evidences proved global culture is American culture. American culture influenced global culture in many areas: technology, fashion, food, ect. The writer thought that by getting corporate benefits of globalization, the USA wanted to use global culture as depredations from other countries, in this article, the writer called it “McWorld”. McWorld showed an American push into the future in all fields of culture. Besides, in a new global culture, America's goal is the consumers all over the world.
