Topic:Should we need to protect the traditional festivals
Summary:This article tells us about traditional festivals can not coordinate with social integration. At first, the author admits that the festivals are an important part in people’s culture, but the traditions implies a clash with current social values, occasionally, it should be exerted cultural critique. The author uses the first Spanish case to show festivals always with conflict or even physical violence, and the second Spanish case shows that the traditional festivals affect by the politics. Both of the cases show that the traditional festivals are clashing social values. Secondly, the author describes the positive aspect in multicultural festivals and uses the example about the multicultural festivals in Barcelona, the traditional music reveal its true essence and full range. At last, the author describes the ethnic music and unequal multiculturalism.
In my opinion, what the author said about some festivals with conflict or even physical violence and the traditional festivals affect by the politics can be used as an opposed views of “Whether or not to protect the traditional festivals”, but I am still have some trouble to understand the whole article.

/Good. Looks like an interesting article. To make the summary work you need to explain a little more what the first 2 Spanish cases are./
