claire's homework

Essay plan
Introduction
General idea& background of this phenomenon
Investigation shows more than half of the people in USA feel unhappy nowadays.
(Example: Harvard University set up “happiness lessons” to enlighten those depressed students)

Causes:
1) Intense competition force us spend more time and energy on working. (mental stress)
2) Less time to hang out wiz friends and families. Distance between us and families would be bigger
3) The type of job or major that you doing now can’t reflect your personal value / actually you don’t like them.
Argument: which one is more important ? Money? Achievement? happy?
a) Money is important
1) Money is the resource of our life. It’s hard to be happy when we get rid of money
2) Have to do some work you don’t like for rising your family
3) Money provide you decently social position

b) Happy is the most important
1) Good mood in the premise of your good life and working quality
2) Choose the thing you want to do and show your value. After all you just experience your life once time
3) Depends on different outlook on life and world view

Tendency in future and the consequence may cause
1) working efficient would be low, suicide rate may increase
2) public order may be mass ( people looking ways to release themselves)

Conclusion
Summary
My opinion: happy and mental health is overweight than money.

This research paper will examine the facts why we should use renewable energy and which causes that we will face if we don’t act soon. Using renewable or green energy sources enables us to reduce the carbon dioxide percentage that goes into the atmosphere because of the energy nowadays we use. It is proven fact that using such as nuclear power plants or oil as an energy source increases the carbon dioxide level in the air and this helps to reduce climate change. By using renewable energy sources like solar energy, not only we slow down the global warming effect but also we reduce our dependence on oil and coal reserves, which are becoming more expensive each day and more difficult to find. This paper will also explain what really renewable energy is, why renewable energy plats cost more by the build up. To sum up, I think that we should stop harming the environment as soon as possible and in my paper I seek to help the others to understand the facts if we don’t act soon.

This research paper will examine OPEC and its relationship to oil prices. In contrast to the belief that OPEC sets oil prices, it is the production of OPEC and the limits it sets on production that, along with other factors, plays a major role in the price of oil. When people hear that oil has reached $60, $70 a barrel, and blame the Arab nations of the Middle East, often they are not aware that there are many, many factors that go into the price of gas. In the paper I would like to explore how the production of oil plays a large role in oil prices, discuss additional factors that play a role in oil prices, and clarify the true role of OPEC. Moreover, in dissecting how gasoline is priced, such as the cost of oil to the cost of marketing, I seek to show that overall OPEC has a very small role in oil and gas prices. The paper will discuss what efforts OPEC undertakes as a means of ensuring that oil prices stay stable and how, when the organization claims to try and keep stability in the oil market that the prices go through periods of major fluctuations as seen in the last several years.
